Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Oakton, Virginia, where you will work collaboratively in a dynamic team of healthcare professionals. Our modern facility is equipped with the latest rehabilitation technology and tools, creating an environment that fosters innovative care practices and effective patient outcomes. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and regular evaluations of patients' physical therapy needs, using standardized evaluation methods in accordance with industry best practices.
• Monitor mobility, strength, and function to establish relevant, achievable goals tailored to each patient's unique circumstances and capabilities.
• Develop customized treatment plans that encompass both short-term and long-term therapeutic objectives while ensuring active communication with patients and caregivers.
• Implement treatment plans consistently, making real-time adjustments based on patient progress to maximize recovery outcomes.
• Document patient interactions, progress, and treatments meticulously to comply with medical documentation standards and support ongoing patient care efforts.
• Enhance clinical skills and knowledge through continuous education, participating in workshops, and staying updated with professional literature in physical therapy.
• Collaborate actively with other facility staff, including aiding with patient care tasks, and maintaining an organized and therapeutic environment for rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population at PT Plus includes a diverse range of individuals ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients, focusing primarily on those dealing with orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. The ideal candidate will be adept at formulating treatment plans that cater to various age groups and injury types, fostering an inclusive and effective rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A current, active state license to practice Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including AED.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience working with a diverse patient demographic, demonstrating empathy, adaptability, and effective patient engagement strategies.
• Solid understanding of the latest advancements in physical therapy methodologies and equipment.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually , commensurate with experience.
