The TheraPlay Child Orthopedic Center is seeking a committed and compassionate Full-Time Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team in West McLean, Virginia. This role is pivotal in enhancing the physical well-being of children through individualized therapy plans and collaborative care approaches. Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite, providing therapy in a home care setting, which allows therapists to closely observe and adapt to the child's most comfortable environment. Our practice is designed to support collaboration among team members, fostering a culture of shared learning and comprehensive service delivery. Working hours are scheduled from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 3 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

As a Pediatric Physical Therapist at TheraPlay, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough Physical Therapy evaluations to assess the needs and capabilities of children with various orthopedic and developmental concerns.
• Developing and executing tailored treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic techniques designed to alleviate pain, enhance motor skills, and promote developmental growth.
• Regularly reassessing patient progress through clinical observation and documented evaluations to ensure efficacy of treatment plans, making necessary adjustments to goals as clients evolve.
• Maintaining accurate documentation, including SOAP notes, care plans, and progress summaries, leveraging our electronic health record system on a timely basis.
• Educating patients and their families on the therapeutic process, facilitating understanding of challenges and strategies for success during recovery.
• Meeting minimum utilization goals and collaborating with other therapists within our multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care for children receiving multiple services.
• Embodying and promoting the core values of TheraPlay, ensuring a supportive environment while acting as an ambassador for our mission and culture.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes children from diverse backgrounds and with a variety of diagnoses, from developmental delays to orthopedic injuries. You will play an integral role in their journey, providing tailored interventions that address both physical challenges and emotional resilience.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

• Possess a Master's degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Hold a current and unrestricted physical therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• Demonstrate proficiency in conducting physical evaluations and providing treatments, both in-person and via telehealth when clinically appropriate.
• Exhibit a strong desire to work with a diverse pediatric population.
• Embrace flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
• Exhibit teamwork skills, focusing on collaboration and client-centered care.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in pediatric physical therapy is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with additional certifications or training in specialized pediatric therapies (such as neurodevelopmental treatment, sensory integration, etc.) will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide:
