Work Environment

This position is an onsite role focused on home care, providing flexibility in your work hours while serving patients in their residences. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess the physical condition of patients in their home environments to understand their unique needs and objectives for rehabilitation.
• Develop personalized treatment plans integrating diverse methodologies such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and the utilization of appropriate rehabilitation equipment.
• Implement treatment protocols and monitor patient progress, modifying plans as necessary to ensure optimal healing and recovery.
• Document treatment procedures and outcomes comprehensively, ensuring accurate communication with other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care.
• Train patients and their families on effective use of assistive devices for mobility and self-care, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery process.
• Maintain ongoing professional development through workshops, networking, and engagement in professional organizations to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Home Care Orthopedic Physical Therapist will work with a diverse range of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy. A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy.

• Proficient in word processing and basic computer skills, facilitating effective patient documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits
