Flexibility First Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Physical Therapist to join our team. This role focuses on restoring mobility and enhancing the overall quality of life for our patients, guiding them through the spectrum of recovery—from promotion and prevention to diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. Our facility boasts a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine environment designed for optimal patient recovery and rehabilitation. Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite within the restful environment of patient homes, allowing for a unique and intimate setting to provide care. You will join a close-knit team consisting of two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), fostering a collaborative atmosphere that emphasizes teamwork and continuous learning. Our standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, providing stability while ensuring ample time for patient interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine specific needs and set achievable goals.
• Develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans that include a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's unique conditions and preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and clinical expertise to provide high-quality therapy and interventions aimed at improving patients' functional capabilities.
• Implement exercise regimens and manual therapy techniques effectively, focusing on enhancing range of motion and mobility.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment progress meticulously, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and the practice's guidelines.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to connect patients with additional resources, addressing their overall health and rehabilitation goals.
• Evaluate patient outcomes regularly and adapt treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery.
• Engage with and motivate patients throughout the therapy process, encouraging adherence to their treatment plans.
• Support patients in developing healthier lifestyles through improved strength and flexibility, essential for daily activities and overall well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic primarily consists of individuals seeking orthopedic rehabilitation, often under private medical insurance plans. You will directly contribute to their recovery from musculoskeletal injuries, surgical interventions, or chronic conditions, enhancing their mobility and enabling them to achieve their personal health goals.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• No records of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Capabilities in designing and implementing effective exercise programs based on patient assessments.
• Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

We value previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, particularly with patients recovering from surgeries or managing chronic pain conditions. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and successful treatment modalities will be highly regarded, as will the ability to provide empathetic and patient-centered care.

Compensation and Benefits
