Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in home environments to assess their physical capabilities, limitations, and rehabilitation goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize a combination of therapeutic exercises, stretching techniques, and hands-on modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and prescribed home programs, as well as how to properly use assistive devices to facilitate self-care and ambulation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and caregivers, to ensure comprehensive and cohesive patient management.
• Engage in continuous professional development through attending workshops, participating in networking opportunities, and remaining current with advancements in physical therapy practices.

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy, with a comprehensive understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.
• Current and valid State Licensure in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia.

• Proficient computer and word processing abilities to manage documentation and treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
