Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with various orthopedic conditions to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and advanced rehabilitation technologies, to treat and rehabilitate patients.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery and therapeutic success.
• Implement preventative measures and provide patient education on strategies for pain management and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to devise comprehensive care strategies, participating actively in multidisciplinary meetings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from various orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation following joint replacements, sports injuries, and trauma-related cases. Your focus will be on providing compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers patients to regain their mobility and independence. By establishing strong rapport and trust with patients, you will be instrumental in guiding them through their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer skills for documentation and patient tracking.
• Adaptability and flexibility to meet patients' varying needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred but not mandatory, making this an excellent opportunity for new graduates looking to start their careers.
• Additional certifications in specialty areas such as manual therapy or sports rehabilitation are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
