Work Environment

This position is based onsite within our specialized rehabilitation facility in Herndon, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, developing tailored treatment plans to address their specific functional limitations and disabilities.
• Consult with interdisciplinary healthcare providers regarding the continuum of care for each patient, ensuring all aspects of treatment are well-coordinated.
• Deliver high-quality evaluations, including interpreting findings, implementing treatment strategies, re-evaluating progress, and educating patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and discharge plans while adhering to state regulations and professional standards.
• Engage in community outreach and participate in marketing efforts to promote our services and enhance patient engagement.
• Supervise and manage assigned support staff, ensuring collaboration and efficient use of departmental resources.
• Prepare regular reports and updates for physicians on patient progress and changes to prescribed treatment programs, discussing any necessary adjustments.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
