Trails Rehabilitation & Wellness Pro is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team based in Dulles, Virginia. Work Environment

Our Rehabilitation Center in Dulles provides an onsite, hands-on approach to patient care, allowing our therapists to work closely with clients in a fully equipped facility. You will experience a dynamic workplace where teamwork and communication are emphasized, enabling you to provide the highest quality of care. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a consistent routine that promotes work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients with orthopedic conditions to create individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring function and alleviating pain.
• Implement evidence-based treatment strategies according to the latest advancements in physical therapy and patient needs.
• Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery, while documenting all activities accurately and promptly in compliance with healthcare standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and rehabilitation staff, to coordinate care and discuss patient progress.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families on strategies for managing conditions and promoting overall health and wellness.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives alongside team members to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.
• Participate in regular meetings and training sessions to discuss best practices and operational improvements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus is on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal system. You will play a crucial role in guiding these individuals through rehabilitation, utilizing innovative therapies to ensure each patient reaches their maximum potential and enjoys an enhanced quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience with demonstrated clinical expertise.
• A valid CPR certification, ensuring readiness for any medical emergency.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience is required, candidates with additional expertise in specific orthopedic conditions, rehabilitation technologies, or advanced treatment methodologies will stand out in the selection process. Skills in patient education, motivational interviewing, and an understanding of the latest rehabilitation trends will enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits
