Work Environment

As an onsite practitioner in home health care, you'll engage closely with patients and their families in their familiar environments, helping to cultivate a supportive atmosphere for healing. While this role is focused on home visits, you will also collaborate with our interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to offer integrated services and ensure continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy services to a diverse patient population, focusing on orthopedic conditions.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop comprehensive, individualized care plans aimed at achieving specific rehabilitation goals.
• Implement and evaluate treatment interventions, specifically tailored to each patient's therapeutic needs and recovery objectives.
• Educate patients and their families on proper therapeutic techniques and exercises that can be performed outside therapy sessions to encourage continued progress.
• Cooperate with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide coordinated care throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Prioritize and manage caseload effectively, adjusting plans as needed based on patient progress and feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility. This may include individuals of varying ages, from pediatric to geriatric populations, each requiring unique approaches and empathetic communication. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia, demonstrating adherence to practice standards and regulations.
• A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic setting, showcasing your technical abilities and commitment to patient care.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor to effectively engage with patients, families, and team members.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
