Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, employing evidence-based practices to assess their physical therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique goals and limitations, focusing on improving mobility and reducing pain.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, reassessing clinical signs and symptoms to ensure treatment effectiveness and adjusting goals as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and care plans using our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients and their families about the recovery process, providing resources and support to navigate potential challenges.
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines within the clinic for cases where multiple services are provided, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
• Contribute to achieving departmental utilization rates and organizational goals while championing our clinic's core values.
• Participate in team meetings and clinical supervision, sharing insights and recommending strategies for continuous improvement in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily treat individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. You will cater to a wide array of patients, including those from varied backgrounds and demographics, ensuring that everyone receives compassionate and tailored therapy.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia, without restrictions.
• Ability and willingness to provide evaluations and treatment both in-person and via telehealth, when applicable, to extend care to those unable to attend onsite.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for working with a diverse patient population, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in patient interactions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, emphasizing excellent customer service and patient satisfaction.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic clinical setting is preferred, with a track record of effective patient management and positive outcomes.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records and other relevant clinical documentation systems.
• Certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques or approaches, such as manual therapy or sports rehabilitation, are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
