As a Physical Therapist at Bayberry Orthopedic, you will work exclusively onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will undertake a diverse array of responsibilities that encompass patient assessment, intervention, and education. Your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting detailed patient evaluations to identify specific rehabilitation needs and goals.
• Designing and implementing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the therapy team, ensuring they align with the latest evidence-based practices.
• Educating patients and their families about therapy goals, techniques, and the importance of continued rehabilitation outside of therapy sessions.
• Leading facility-wide educational sessions to promote awareness of physical therapy benefits and services, fostering a culture of understanding and support among staff.
• Attending interdisciplinary Care Plan Meetings to offer insights into patients' progress and collaborate on adjustments to treatment strategies.
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment modalities, and progress notes, complying with both federal and state regulations.
• Working closely with supervising Physical Therapists to uphold continuity of care and maximize the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population at Bayberry Orthopedic consists primarily of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, neurological conditions, and other rehabilitation needs. You will work with a diverse group of patients, each requiring tailored therapeutic approaches to meet their unique recovery journeys. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in good standing in the state of Virginia.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• A passion for clinical excellence, patient integrity, and continuous learning.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, capable of building rapport with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who possess:

• Previous experience working within a Skilled Nursing Facility environment.

Compensation and Benefits
