Position Overview

Work Environment

Located in the welcoming community of Falls Church, Virginia, our outpatient office features a collaborative and professional atmosphere that encourages teamwork and personal growth. As a member of our team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and specialists, all dedicated to providing comprehensive care. Our typical work hours are Monday to Friday, with flexibility ranging from 7 am to 3:30 pm or 8 am to 4 pm, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, utilizing advanced assessment techniques to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and adjust treatment protocols tailored to orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients based on their specific needs and progress.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and communication, enhancing overall clinic functionality and patient satisfaction.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and collaborate on complex cases to optimize patient outcomes.
• Administer specialized therapeutic interventions within our clinic and at patients' homes, ensuring alignment with prescribed care plans.
• Provide education and emotional support to both patients and their caregivers, fostering understanding and compliance with treatment goals.
• Meet established utilization targets while contributing positively to the overarching business objectives of the center.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient facility primarily serves a diverse group of patients who range from adolescents to adults, with varying degrees of orthopedic injuries. We treat individuals recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, chronic pain, and rehabilitation following traumatic incidents. As a Physical Therapist, you will utilize your expertise to address each patient's unique challenges and support their journey toward recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• An active state license in Physical Therapy is mandatory to practice.
• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in an orthopedic or outpatient setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification as per American Heart Association standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective interactions with patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, which will assist in maintaining clinical documentation and managing patient records.

• Experience in multidisciplinary team collaboration, demonstrating a strong ability to work and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits
