Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' orthopedic conditions and develop customized treatment plans based on their specific needs and goals.
• Manage a caseload, typically accommodating one patient per hour, to provide focused attention and high-quality treatment integration.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that may include manual therapy techniques, exercise regimens, and education sessions.
• Track and monitor patient progress through detailed documentation and regular assessments, ensuring treatment effectiveness.
• Motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey, setting achievable goals and providing support to help optimize their functional abilities.
• Engage in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to formulate holistic care strategies, ensuring integrated treatment approaches.
• Provide comprehensive education to patients regarding their conditions, therapeutic exercises, and preventive measures to promote long-term wellness.
• Maintain clear lines of communication with patients regarding their treatment updates and milestones.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Balanced Bodies Wellness Center, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Our focus is on restoring mobility and functionality while reducing pain and reliance on medications. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.

• Proficiency in EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
