Key Responsibilities

• Implement direct physical therapy interventions to alleviate pain, prevent disability, and optimize patients' muscle functions, while closely adhering to individual treatment plans.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants, ensuring accurate implementation of care plans and methodologies.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' functional levels using diagnostic tests and tools, assessing muscle, nerve, joint, and functional capabilities.
• Assess home environments when applicable, providing recommendations to enhance client independence during their rehabilitation process.
• Administer various therapeutic exercises and modalities, including manual therapy and modern treatment interventions suited to patient needs.
• Evaluate, fit, and modify prosthetic and orthotic devices in collaboration with clients and their physicians.
• Prepare comprehensive clinical documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to maintain accurate patient records and facilitate continuity of care.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing valuable insights to the overall treatment planning and evaluation processes.
• Provide education and guidance to clients and their families about the use of therapy devices and home exercise programs.
• Regularly assess community resources and make necessary adjustments to care plans to optimize each patient's rehabilitation experience.

As an orthopedic physical therapist at Pinnacle Flex, you will work closely with a diverse range of clients, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant physical therapy experience, ideally in acute care or home care settings.
• Active, in-good-standing physical therapy license for the state of Virginia.
• Current CPR certification to ensure emergency readiness.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance for travel to client locations when required.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

• Demonstrated ability to make sound clinical decisions, exhibiting leadership qualities and accountability.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 90,000 and USD 110,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
