Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center is located in the thriving area of West McLean, Virginia, offering a vibrant and friendly atmosphere. The work schedule is set from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, individualized physical therapy services to patients, tailoring treatments based on their specific goals and needs.
• Manage a designated patient load, ensuring adequate time and attention for each client during their therapy sessions.
• Utilize advanced techniques in orthopedic outpatient care to aid recovery and enhance patients' movement capabilities.
• Employ cost-effective treatment strategies that prioritize non-surgical alternatives, minimizing reliance on medications.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans, integrating a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Personalize fitness and wellness programs, catering to each patient's unique requirements, helping them achieve their health goals.
• Provide motivational support and encouragement throughout the patient's recovery journey, fostering a positive therapeutic relationship.
• Analyze and track treatment effectiveness and patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as necessary.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment details accurately using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, such as Web PT, for improved continuity of care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, ensuring well-rounded support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Feel Life Body Therapy & Home Care, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your focus will be on helping these clients regain their independence and enhancing their quality of life through tailored rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Possession of a current, active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques, demonstrating a deep understanding of physical therapy modalities.
• Strong capabilities in creating effective and engaging exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for tracking patient progress and managing records.
• Commitment to staying current with the latest research and advancements in physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an outpatient physical therapy setting is highly desired.
• Experience in sports medicine or orthopedics is advantageous, as it aligns with our patient demographics.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with patients and multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
