Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite, where you will engage directly with patients in their home settings. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical limitations, disabilities, and goals for recovery.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and the specific needs of each patient.

• Implement therapeutic interventions and modifications to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.

• Monitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment strategies, making necessary adjustments to enhance outcomes.

• Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants (PTAs) and support personnel in delivering quality care.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to create and implement comprehensive care strategies.

• Participate in team meetings, providing insights and suggestions to improve productivity and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
