Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred by physicians, develop tailored treatment programs, and implement interventions that adhere to the physician's treatment plan.
• Document and track patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and outcomes.
• Provide direct patient care using a range of therapeutic techniques and modalities, ensuring a focus on achieving optimal functional outcomes.
• Consult and educate patients and their caregivers on home exercises and strategies that enhance recovery and minimize the risk of re-injury.
• Maintain established minimum utilization goals while contributing to overall service effectiveness and quality improvements within the organization.
• Engage with the community to foster belief in the value of continued physical therapy and promote wellness initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position encompasses a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and those requiring pediatric therapies. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited educational institution.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years' clinical experience as a licensed physical therapist; experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
• Possession of a current CPR certification.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, family members, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and word processing software.

• Experience treating a diverse range of conditions, including orthopedic, sports medicine, pediatric, and neurologic cases.
