Healing Touch Physical Therapy is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Physical Therapist who will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients. Our outpatient office fosters a collaborative environment with a team of experienced professionals, including two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Work Environment

As a full-time Physical Therapist at our outpatient office, you will work onsite in a supportive setting that prioritizes patient care. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Our facility is equipped with the latest therapy equipment to ensure you have the resources needed to provide exceptional treatment to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' needs, formulating specific treatment objectives tailored to individual goals.
• Manage a typical caseload of one patient per hour to ensure focused and quality-driven care.
• Leverage your expertise in orthopedic outpatient settings to administer evidence-based therapies that improve clients' mobility and range of motion.
• Develop comprehensive and tailored treatment plans employing a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities, focusing on optimal outcomes.
• Encourage patient engagement by designing and promoting customized fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's specific lifestyle and health ambitions.
• Facilitate a progressive rehabilitation journey while maximizing patients' functional capabilities, minimizing reliance on medications, and advocating for non-surgical alternatives.
• Coordinate care with fellow healthcare professionals, fostering teamwork that enhances patient progress and communication.
• Regularly document patient interactions and treatment outcomes to maintain accurate records for ongoing evaluation and progress tracking.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Healing Touch Physical Therapy, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain management. Your role will be essential in helping patients reclaim their independence and partake in activities that promote their physical health and well-being.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions related to your professional license.
• Proficient knowledge of manual therapy techniques that you can apply effectively.
• Experience in designing and implementing evidence-based exercise programs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, preferably WebPT, to manage patient documentation efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• A demonstrated background in outpatient orthopedic settings, with proven results in improving patient outcomes.
• At least 2 years of direct experience in a clinical role is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
