Work Environment

Located in Reston, Virginia, our outpatient office provides a welcoming and state-of-the-art setting for both patients and staff. Your work schedule will typically run from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced professional lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist in our practice, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to accurately identify each patient's physical challenges and therapeutic needs.
• Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that support optimal recovery and functional independence.
• Utilize a diverse array of therapeutic modalities including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities tailored to each patient's condition.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding their treatment plans and the importance of active participation in the recovery process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and successful patient outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation reflecting assessment results, therapeutic interventions, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals across various age groups seeking assistance for orthopedic issues and rehabilitation needs. You will engage with patients experiencing acute injuries, chronic pain, and pre- and post-operative recovery. By creating tailored treatment plans, you will assist these individuals in overcoming physical barriers while fostering a supportive environment that encourages active participation and commitment to their rehabilitation.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution, ensuring a solid foundation in physical rehabilitation principles.
• A current Virginia state license to practice as a Physical Therapist, validating your eligibility to provide high-quality care within the state.

Preferred Experience
