Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, reviewing pertinent history information and performing specific assessments to gauge their physical condition and needs.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment protocols based on individual evaluation findings while adapting to patients' evolving requirements.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring clarity in the patient's course of care, including daily notes and discharge evaluations.
• Engage in multidisciplinary consultations with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and address any necessary modifications to the plan of care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, their families, and the healthcare team, ensuring that everyone is informed and engaged in the treatment process.
• Participate in facility meetings and contribute ideas for improving care delivery and operational efficiency.
• Comply with all corporate, clinical, and regulatory training requirements pertinent to physical therapy practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Boost Therapy Center, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and conditions. This may include those with joint pain, post-operative patients, and individuals participating in rehabilitation after various injuries. Your expertise will directly influence their recovery journey, enabling them to achieve their physical health goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license and any additional certifications as required by Virginia state regulations.
• Current American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering open communication among colleagues and patients.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist, with a strong focus on orthopedic rehabilitation is preferred. Experience in an outpatient setting will be beneficial, as it allows for a smooth integration into our team culture and patient care strategies.

Compensation and Benefits
