Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, requiring the Physical Therapist to visit patients in their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement comprehensive treatment programs tailored to the specific needs of patients referred by physicians.
• Administer therapy protocols aimed at addressing various conditions while closely monitoring patient progress against set benchmarks.
• Deliver compassionate and skilled therapeutic care in patients' homes, using specialized techniques to improve physical function and quality of life according to the physician's care plan.
• Consult with patients and their caregivers to educate them on exercises, home management strategies, and recovery-related information.
• Contribute to a collaborative team approach by sharing patient progress, experiences, and evidence-based strategies during team meetings.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring that each patient feels valued and supported throughout their therapy journey.
• Achieve minimum utilization goals and actively participate in facility business objectives, enhancing our operational efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will treat a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, children with developmental challenges, adults with chronic pain, and athletes looking to regain full function. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is necessary.

Compensation and Benefits
