We offer a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot facility specialized in sports medicine and rehabilitation, primarily catering to patients with private medical insurance. As a physical therapy-owned practice, we value a collaborative work culture among our team of two physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our rehabilitation center in Leesburg, VA, which features modern equipment and resources designed to support effective therapeutic interventions. Our work schedule includes Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life schedule while serving a diverse caseload of patients with various orthopedic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments to effectively identify patients' individual goals and requirements, ensuring personalized treatment plans.
• Manage a patient caseload, providing one-on-one therapy sessions with an emphasis on customized care.
• Administer evidence-based interventions aimed at improving clients' range of motion and mobility, while striving to minimize reliance on medications and facilitate alternatives to surgical procedures.
• Create comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Design and implement individualized fitness and wellness programs that promote overall health and recovery.
• Utilize proficient manual therapy techniques, and demonstrate expertise in developing and executing exercise protocols for diverse patient populations.
• Continuously monitor treatment outcomes and document all provided services meticulously to ensure high-quality care and compliance with professional standards.
• Engage patients in their therapy journey, motivating them to achieve optimal functioning and encouraging healthy lifestyles that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as necessary to deliver comprehensive patient care and discuss treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals with various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. We emphasize a patient-centered approach, fostering partnerships with each patient to ensure their unique needs and goals are met throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Virginia license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Maintains an impeccable professional record with no board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong background in manual therapy techniques with demonstrable expertise.
• Ability to develop and implement effective exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Proven track record working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, with a focus on rehabilitation.
• Experience in designing wellness programs to enhance patient engagement and recovery.
• Engagement in continuing education and professional development to remain current with rehabilitation techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
