Work Environment

The rehabilitation facility is located in the heart of Leesburg, Virginia, a charming community that combines historical appeal with modern amenities. Our onsite setting is equipped with state-of-the-art therapeutic equipment, private treatment rooms, and collaborative workspaces designed to facilitate interprofessional communication and teamwork. The work schedule is conveniently structured from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of new patients to develop individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs and functional limitations.

• Utilize evidence-based practices and clinical judgment to implement effective treatment protocols that address various orthopedic conditions, facilitating optimum recovery.

• Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory requirements, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and address any evolving patient needs throughout the rehabilitation process.

• Provide education to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and exercises to enhance understanding and encourage compliance.

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and optimizing service delivery.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and state regulations, maintaining all necessary clinical certifications and training.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with outpatient orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. The diverse patient population ranges from athletes seeking rehabilitation for sports injuries to elderly patients recovering from joint replacements. Your expertise will be pivotal in developing tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient, facilitating their path to recovery and overall wellness.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia, with appropriate certification from the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.

• Two years of relevant experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating proficiency in evaluating and treating a variety of orthopedic conditions.

• Current CPR certification to ensure readiness in emergency situations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in utilizing advanced therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation technologies is highly desired.

• Engagement in professional development opportunities such as workshops, conferences, or specialty certifications in orthopedics or manual therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 – $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a generous salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
