Work Environment

The position is based primarily onsite within our rehabilitation facility in Leesburg, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, developing a personalized treatment plan based on their specific needs and goals.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities, ensuring that treatment aligns with evidence-based practices.
• Provide ongoing patient education and engage with patients and their caregivers to optimize recovery, ensuring understanding of the treatment approaches.
• Document patient progress meticulously, meeting minimum utilization goals, and contributing to overall business objectives to help the facility grow.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maximize patient outcomes, facilitating coordinated care that addresses all aspects of the patient's health and recovery.
• Maintain an exemplary level of customer service, creating a supportive and inspiring environment for patients to thrive.
• Participate in outreach activities that promote community well-being, sharing knowledge and demonstrating the benefits of physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals with orthopedic issues, neurological conditions, pediatric needs, and sports injuries. This variety not only enhances your skill set but also allows you to make significant impacts on patients from various backgrounds, driving their journey from injury to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
• Current CPR certification and proficiency in basic life support protocols.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize patient care tasks.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years of experience, candidates with prior experience in specialized settings such as pediatric therapy, sports medicine, or neurological rehabilitation may stand out. An aptitude for using evidence-based practice and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
