Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized patient care by assessing unique goals and needs, ensuring each treatment plan is customized for optimal recovery.
• Maintain a manageable patient load that allows for comprehensive one-on-one interactions, fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.
• Demonstrate expertise in orthopedic care by utilizing advanced techniques and modalities, drawing from both your education and hands-on experience.

• Develop and adapt comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment techniques, including therapeutic exercise and manual therapy.

• Continuously assess and document patient progress to modify treatment plans as necessary and to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of sessions in compliance with all regulatory standards, ensuring continuity of care.

• Stay informed of the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy to bring innovative solutions to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your role will be on orthopedic patients who are seeking recovery from injuries or surgeries, as well as those looking to improve athletic performance. You will work closely with adolescents, adults, and seniors who require tailored intervention strategies aimed at restoring function and alleviating pain. Your expertise will empower patients to achieve their health goals through preventative and rehabilitative care.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no sanctions or board proceedings on record.
• Exceptional proficiency in manual therapy modalities and a strong background in developing successful exercise programs.
• Experience with EMR software, particularly Web PT, will be beneficial for efficient documentation and patient management.
• A commitment to staying up-to-date with contemporary physical therapy techniques supported by current research.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
