Gotham Enterprises Ltd is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation facility located in Leesburg, Virginia. Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will work onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Leesburg, Virginia. Our facility encompasses 5,000 square feet of specially designed space dedicated to sports medicine and rehabilitation, featuring advanced therapeutic equipment and comfortable treatment areas. The work schedule allows flexibility within a structured Monday to Friday 9 AM to 5 PM framework, ensuring you can achieve a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients to identify individual goals and treatment needs, ensuring equitable and effective one-on-one care.
• Develop tailored care plans that integrate various therapeutic techniques and modalities, aligned with best practices in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Implement treatment sessions that typically last 40 minutes each, focusing on enhancing motion, strength, flexibility, and proper mechanics.
• Employ preventative care strategies to reduce the necessity for surgical interventions and reliance on medications.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment programs based on objective outcomes and feedback.
• Document all patient care services accurately utilizing the Athena Health EMR system, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with other health professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to enhance the multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to optimize their performance and confidence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily include active individuals and athletes seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions. A significant portion of our clientele is insured by commercial health plans or opts for private pay arrangements. Your role will involve creating fitness and wellness programs that cater to a broad spectrum of patients, helping them regain optimal function in daily activities and sports.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or higher (MS or DPT) in Physical Therapy is required.
• A valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Virginia.
• At least 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of current treatment practices and rehabilitation techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on the latest evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using the Athena Health EMR system is preferred.
• Prior engagement in sports medicine or orthopedic rehabilitation settings is a plus.
• Ability to manage patients with various personality types effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
