Work Environment

You will work onsite at our outpatient office in Dulles, Virginia, in a well-equipped, welcoming environment designed for optimal patient engagement. Regular hours of work will be Monday through Friday, with a commitment of a 40-hour workweek, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations, create, and implement individualized treatment plans for patients referred by physicians, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Administer therapies using various techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to address pain and improve functionality.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the patient experience, ensuring that all interactions are positive and supportive.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maximize patient outcomes based on evidence-based practices, sharing insights and strategies with colleagues.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about rehabilitation goals, treatment strategies, and home exercise programs to foster independence.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records to track patient progress and support insurance claims.
• Achieve minimum utilization goals while contributing to the overall business objectives of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with adults recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and degenerative conditions. Your expertise will also extend to other populations, including pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. Tailoring your approach to meet the diverse needs of each individual will be key, as you navigate their unique recovery trajectories.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, with a preference for candidates holding a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy, allowing you to practice in Virginia.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in using word processing and computer systems for documentation and reporting purposes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable, providing you with the necessary clinical background to excel in this role.
• Demonstrated ability to foster meaningful relationships with patients, ensuring their comfort and commitment to treatment goals.
• History of engagement within the community to promote wellness and rehabilitation initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

Stalwart Rehabilitation Center offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and performance. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
