Work Environment

Located in a modern facility designed for optimal therapeutic outcomes, our outpatient office features state-of-the-art equipment and technology. You will work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including certified occupational therapists and physical therapy assistants, within an environment that promotes open communication and teamwork. Your work schedule will typically be from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities, movement patterns, and overall health to inform individualized treatment plans.
• Administer hands-on therapeutic interventions that may include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance mobility and alleviate pain.
• Instruct patients and their families on specific exercises and preventive strategies to support recovery and enhance physical well-being.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making timely adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs and therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and facilitate comprehensive rehabilitation efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse population of patients recovering from various orthopedic, neurological, and sports-related injuries. Our patients range from post-operative individuals seeking to regain mobility to athletes aiming for peak performance. Your ability to design and implement customized rehabilitation programs will be key in helping these individuals achieve their personal health goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (Master's or Doctorate preferred).
• Must possess an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Demonstrated experience with manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in rehabilitation principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster a supportive environment for patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The annual compensation for this physical therapist position ranges between USD 90,000 and 120,000, commensurate with experience and education.
