Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in West McLean, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine their physical therapy needs and develop an individualized treatment plan.
• Execute a wide variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions that address patients' orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine conditions.
• Provide regular updates to both patients and referring physicians on progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve defined goals.
• Utilize physical therapy modalities and therapeutic exercises to foster recovery and improve patient function.
• Encourage and educate patients and their caregivers on at-home exercises and lifestyle modifications that aid recovery.
• Build strong relationships with patients to foster trust and rapport, ensuring they are motivated to engage in their treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
• Meet or exceed established clinical utilization metrics and other business objectives to support the health of our practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients who have sustained orthopedic injuries or are undergoing post-operative rehabilitation. This diverse clientele includes children, athletes, and individuals recovering from various musculoskeletal conditions. The role also encompasses educating patients about their injuries, recovery processes, and preventative strategies.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy prior to starting the role.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to establish meaningful connections with patients and demonstrate a compassionate approach to care.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in an orthopedic setting is preferred, especially familiarity with evidence-based practices and a strong commitment to patient-centered care. Skills in specialized treatment modalities, such as manual therapy or functional rehabilitation, will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and performance. In addition to base compensation, our employees enjoy a robust benefits package that includes:
