Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement tailored physical therapy treatment programs for patients referred by physicians, ensuring they align with the designated plan of care.
• Work with a diverse patient population, treating conditions across various specialties such as orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service while engaging with patients to contribute positively to their overall experience and treatment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic approaches.
• Engage in providing skilled therapeutic care, utilizing various procedures and techniques aimed at improving the patient's condition and functionality.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on rehabilitation techniques and strategies for continued improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient focus includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries or injuries, athletes rehabilitating from sports-related conditions, children with developmental issues, and adults facing mobility challenges. Your role is vital in supporting patients during all stages of their rehabilitation process, enabling them to regain strength and function while redefining their journey toward recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
