Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite at our modern rehabilitation center located in Dulles, Virginia. The clinic features an open treatment area that encourages collaboration and communication among staff while maintaining a patient-focused atmosphere. The team operates Monday through Friday with flexible shift options from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm or 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Our work setting is a fast-paced rehabilitation center that fosters professional development and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to formulate effective, personalized treatment plans for patients.
• Administer one-on-one therapy sessions focused on orthopedic rehabilitation, ensuring a patient-centered approach.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based methodologies, including manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises, to address patient needs and enhance recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure integrated care.
• Monitor patient progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on regular assessments.
• Document patient care activities comprehensively within the clinic's electronic medical record (EMR) system, specifically utilizing WebPT for efficient tracking and analysis.
• Educate patients on injury prevention strategies, self-management techniques, and the benefits of an active lifestyle.
• Advocate for non-invasive treatment options, minimizing the need for medication.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Bennett Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation Clinic, you will work primarily with adult patients suffering from a range of orthopedic conditions. These may include post-surgical rehab, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain management. Our team prioritizes individualized care, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored to meet the unique needs, challenges, and goals of every patient, thus fostering an environment for optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• A proven track record with clinical experience in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Strong background in manual therapy techniques and the design of individualized exercise protocols.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary rehabilitation environment.
• Specialty certifications in orthopedic treatment methodologies or techniques.
• Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary practices in sports medicine rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 , commensurate with qualifications and experience.
