Key Responsibilities

In your day-to-day operations, you will:

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations for patients referred by physicians and develop customized treatment plans based on individual assessments.
• Implement treatment protocols using various techniques and modalities to enhance patient recovery and improve functionality.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet changing needs and to optimize outcomes.
• Foster a welcoming and supportive environment by providing exemplary customer service and building rapport with each patient.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to create a comprehensive care strategy.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment processes, self-management techniques, and preventative care strategies to facilitate long-term success.
• Participate in ongoing training and development activities, and contribute to departmental meetings aimed at enhancing practice efficiency and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The role focuses on providing treatment for a diverse patient population with varying conditions, including orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, pediatric concerns, and sports-related issues. You will use your skills and creativity to address unique challenges and ensure every patient receives the dedicated care they require to regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.
• Aptitude for establishing strong relationships with patients and enhancing their engagement with treatment programs.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to convey treatment plans and educational information clearly.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
• A demonstrated commitment to continued professional development and lifelong learning.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist in a clinical or rehabilitation setting.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
