Position Overview

Baystate Therapeutics is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team located in Woodbridge, Virginia. As a full-time Physical Therapist in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, you will play a crucial role in helping patients improve their mobility, restore motion, and enhance their overall quality of life. This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Work Environment

Our Woodbridge location provides a supportive and collaborative work environment where interdisciplinary teamwork is encouraged. Our hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized physical therapy sessions tailored to each patient's unique needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a consistent caseload, ensuring sufficient time for thorough evaluations and treatments.
• Utilize expert knowledge in orthopedic care to develop functional and effective treatment regimes.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies that enhance patient mobility and functional performance.
• Encourage the use of evidence-based non-surgical interventions to reduce reliance on medications.
• Create and oversee individualized care plans incorporating various therapeutic techniques.
• Develop tailor-made fitness and wellness programs designed around the specific abilities and goals of each patient.
• Monitor patients' progress, modifying treatment protocols as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
• Document all patient interactions and progress accurately in our electronic medical records (EMR) system, specifically using Web PT.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Our facility serves a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. We focus on restoring functional mobility, enhancing physical capabilities, and helping our patients achieve their desired outcomes through tailored rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia with no sanctions or board actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation methodologies.
• Strong ability to design and implement effective exercise programs based on individual patient assessments.
• Experience using electronic medical records software, particularly Web PT, for precise clinical documentation.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current physical therapy practices and innovations supported by research.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is highly preferred.
• Specialization in sports medicine or orthopedic physical therapy.
• Experience in developing and facilitating wellness programs.

Compensation and Benefits
