Work Environment

This role will be carried out onsite, specifically focusing on home care services. You will become an essential part of our outpatient clinic team, addressing the specific needs of patients in their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations including a review of histological data, physical assessments, and functional movement analysis to effectively understand each patient's needs.
• Communicate evaluation results and proposed treatment plans clearly to both patients and their families, actively involving them in the goal-setting process for rehabilitation.
• Implement specialized treatment protocols that are evidence-based and tailored to individual patient presentations, ensuring flexibility as per evolving healthcare practices.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient progress, ensuring that records reflect the treatment journey and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to optimize patient care and promote seamless integration of therapy services.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in physical therapy and podiatric practices, contributing insights to improve our service offerings continuously.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with patients dealing with a variety of foot and ankle conditions, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to preventive care strategies aimed at reducing injury. The diverse patient demographics you will encounter in Northern Virginia present unique challenges and opportunities to refine your therapeutic techniques across varying age groups and activity levels. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure to practice physical therapy.

Preferred Experience
