Flexibility First Physical Therapy is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. About the Organization

Located in Annandale, Virginia, Flexibility First Physical Therapy is a premier outpatient facility specializing in sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation. Our state-of-the-art office spans over 5,000 square feet, equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies and resources aimed at optimizing patient outcomes. Our dedicated team includes two seasoned physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) who work collaboratively to deliver exceptional care tailored to each individual's needs.

Work Environment

This full-time position reports onsite at our outpatient office, where you will benefit from a vibrant and collaborative atmosphere. Your typical workweek will run Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to understand patient objectives and tailor treatment plans accordingly.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, typically one individual per hour, ensuring high-quality care and personal attention.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to enhance mobility and reduce pain while minimizing reliance on medication.
• Formulate comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities and exercise programs.
• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness regimens to support patient-specific recovery and health goals.
• Deliver motivational support throughout the therapy process to encourage patients in achieving optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team and consult with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care delivery.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes, track progress, and adapt care strategies as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions, treatment delivered, and progress achieved.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance, focusing on patients who require rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries, sports-related concerns, and musculoskeletal disorders. We are committed to assisting our clients in regaining their independence and enhancing their quality of life through comprehensive therapy that addresses unique physical challenges.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia, with no records of board or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and patient-centered care methodologies.
• Strong skills in designing and implementing effective exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• A background in sports medicine or rehabilitation is a plus.
• Familiarity with advanced therapeutic modalities and technologies is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
