Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Physical Therapist at Little Rehabilitation Physical Therapy, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans for patients referred by physicians.
• Implement and adjust therapy techniques based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback to enhance recovery.
• Provide care for a diverse patient population with specialties including orthopedic conditions, pediatric needs, neurological disorders, and sports-related injuries.
• Utilize tools and methodologies grounded in the latest evidence-based practices to deliver optimal therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and clear communication with patients and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Engage in patient education to empower them and their caregivers in understanding their condition and treatment goals.
• Meet established clinical utilization goals while also contributing to broader business objectives for the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve come from various backgrounds, with a wide spectrum of conditions requiring tailored rehabilitation. Your role encompasses treating individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or enhancing athletic performance. With a focus on fully understanding each patient's unique circumstances, you will help them achieve specific functional goals and restore their independence in daily activities.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• Graduated from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Hold a valid state license in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia.
• Maintain Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Exhibit proficiency with computer systems and word processing to manage patient records and documentation.

Preferred Experience

Qualified applicants should have a minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, particularly in outpatient settings. Experience working with diverse populations and in specialized areas will be an advantage to enriching our practice and supporting patient needs effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and performance. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
