Work Environment

This position is set in an onsite outpatient clinic environment in Woodbridge, allowing for direct interaction with patients in a supportive, collaborative atmosphere. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technologies and tools, ensuring our therapists have the resources necessary to deliver the highest standard of care. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life ratio that allows our therapists to thrive both professionally and personally.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized physical therapy treatments, designing individualized care plans based on patient assessment and goals.
• Manage a caseload of patients, ensuring that each individual receives appropriate time and attention during their sessions.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions focusing on orthopedic issues, leveraging your expertise to drive superior patient outcomes.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and rehabilitative exercises to aid in recovery and maximize functional mobility.
• Conduct thorough evaluations and continuously monitor patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal results.
• Document all services provided accurately within our electronic medical records (EMR) system, particularly using Web PT, to maintain comprehensive patient records.
• Educate patients on their conditions and empower them with strategies to improve their lifestyle, promoting health through enhanced strength, coordination, and endurance.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive care approach for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus includes patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work closely with a diverse demographic, including athletes, older adults, and individuals encountering mobility challenges due to injuries or surgical procedures. Your commitment to understanding each patient's unique background and lifestyle will be critical in tailoring effective treatment plans that not only rehabilitate but also empower.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active and clean Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated mastery of various manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• Experience in developing and implementing successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficient in EMR software usage, especially Web PT, ensuring precise documentation and patient management.
• Strong knowledge of current physical therapy techniques grounded in reliable research and best practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a sports medicine or orthopedic clinic.
• Prior experience with patient populations similar to that of Ascove, focusing on outpatient rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated success in fostering patient engagement and motivation throughout therapy processes.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
