Work Environment

This position is based in Dulles, Virginia, and involves direct, onsite patient interaction. You will work collaboratively with a dynamic interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, case managers, and physical therapy assistants. The role emphasizes flexibility and adaptability, as you will visit clients in various home settings, conducting assessments and therapy sessions personalized for each individual's needs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Restore Physical Therapy Services, you will:

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to reduce pain and restore functionality, ensuring alignment with each client's medical prescriptions.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities using diagnostic tools to develop targeted therapy strategies.
• Provide direct supervision to physical therapy assistants, ensuring adherence to care plans and quality standards.
• Evaluate home environments, making recommendations that foster greater independence for clients.
• Administer various treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the application of physical agents such as traction and massage.
• Maintain comprehensive clinical records, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, submitted accurately and on time.
• Engage in frequent communication with clients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to adapt care plans as needed.
• Participate actively in case conferences to discuss treatment plans, progress, and strategies that enhance patient outcomes.
• Mentor and instruct clients and families on the use of therapeutic devices and total care programs.
• Complete functional assessments on-site, revising care plans based on ongoing evaluations of patient needs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active PT licensure in good standing in Virginia or the state in which you practice.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and team members.
• A passion for providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

We seek candidates with:

• At least one year of experience as a physical therapist, preferably in acute care or home care environments.
• Proficiency with federal and state regulations affecting home health services.

Compensation and Benefits
