About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Global Government Affairs to spearhead the establishment and leadership of its global public policy strategy. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the company's mission to be a premier authority on data security, cyber resilience, and AI safety in government affairs. This role is pivotal in engaging with high-level government officials, including heads of state and key regulatory agencies, to secure the company's position as a core advisor in critical national security and policy dialogues. The VP will also be responsible for shaping emerging cybersecurity and AI legislation, as well as driving public sector sales expansion by partnering with sales leadership to unlock government procurement opportunities. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in leading government relations or public policy, particularly in high-growth tech, cybersecurity, or SaaS environments. The role requires a proven track record in establishing C-level and head-of-state relationships, as well as a deep understanding of how policy strategy directly impacts public sector go-to-market motions. The ideal candidate will have clear experience in managing agency relations, congressional testimony, and international government affairs. Key qualifications include the ability to outmaneuver competitors by influencing federal standards and public policy frameworks, and a strong background in shaping national policy frameworks, such as CISA guidelines and Executive Orders on AI and Cyber.
