Location: Warren, MI
Contract Dates: September 8, 2026 – June 18, 2027
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Setting: Montessori School
Grade Levels: K–6th Grade
Caseload: Approximately 17 students
Position Overview
We are seeking a Special Education Resource Teacher to support K–6th grade students in a Montessori school setting. The teacher will provide specialized instruction and support within the resource room while collaborating with school staff to meet students' individual learning needs.
Requirements
Valid Michigan Special Education teaching certification
Experience working with K–6th grade students preferred
Montessori experience preferred
Resource room or special education experience strongly preferred
Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and school staff
Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs
