Senior Residential Solar Operations Specialist

Role Description

As a Senior Residential Solar Operations Specialist, you are a member of one of IGS’s fast-paced emerging businesses. A Senior Residential Solar Operations Specialist is responsible for a variety of operations related tasks such as:

• Customer billing
• Customer support via phone, email, and an IGS in-house ticketing system
• Data analysis and reporting
• Facilitating operational issues with internal Residential Solar team and EPCs
• Supporting value proposition, pre-pay, and buyout calculations for customers

This role directly contributes to IGS’s goal of scaling our Residential Solar business quickly and efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities include:

• Working within IGS’s proprietary technology platform, document and contract management
• Collaborating with IGS’s Sales and Installation partners to ensure a smoothly operating business
• Actively partnering with IGS’s shared service groups such as billing and collections, IT, finance and accounting, legal and regulatory, and marketing
• Providing support to the team while maintaining processes and achieving goals set
• Responding to and supporting internal customer service teams to address and resolve escalated customer concerns/inquiries
• Completing projects for Residential Solar related to process improvements, market research, and consumer compliance
• Developing and leveraging user guides and job aids to carry out daily tasks and cross-train other team members
• Reviewing and auditing completed work for accuracy, making corrections when necessary, and timely reporting status to management
• Becoming a trusted team member by accomplishing team goals and operating with integrity
• Other responsibilities and projects as assigned

Qualifications

• 5+ years previous customer service experience
• At least 2 years’ experience in “TPO” (Third Party Owner) solar related Customer Resolution preferred
• College degree in Business Administration, IT, Operations, or other applicable field of study a plus
• Energy experience a plus
• Basic skills in all MS Office Applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, SharePoint)

Salary Range

$55,500.00 - $88,800.00

*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance.
