Associate Veterinarian - Paws & Claws Pet Medical Center (Troutdale, OR) Paws & Claws Pet Medical Center | Troutdale, Oregon Full-Time or Part-Time | Flexible Schedule | Small Animal & Exotics | Portland Metro Area Paws & Claws Pet Medical Center seeks an Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our collaborative team in Troutdale, Oregon. We offer full‑time and part‑time positions, with scheduling flexibility ranging from 1–4 days per week. Mondays are required, but schedules can be customized to support work‑life balance. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries in small animals and exotics. Perform preventive health exams, surgeries, and dental procedures. Interpret and utilize diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests. Provide client education and write treatment plans. Collaborate with veterinary technicians, assistants, and staff. Maintain accurate electronic medical records using ImproMed. Scope of Practice Veterinarians provide comprehensive care for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and pocket pets. Our services include general practice, internal medicine, urgent care, and surgeries. Exotics medicine is available but not required.
