Front Desk Receptionist (Richmond)

ProspectBlue is seeking an office assistant/Receptionist for a client in Richmond, VA

What You'll Do

• Greet visitors and manage front desk operations
• Answer and route phone calls and emails
• Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate conference room bookings
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
• Order and maintain office supplies and inventory
• Support the team with administrative tasks, data entry, and document preparation
• Assist with onboarding logistics for new hires
• Help plan and coordinate occasional office events or team lunches
• Serve as the point of contact for building management and vendors

What We're Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or receptionist role
• Strong communication skills — professional, warm, and clear
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Able to juggle multiple tasks and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
• A team player who takes initiative and doesn't wait to be asked twice
• Tech-savvy or comfortable learning new tools quickly

Nice to Have

• Experience in a startup or tech environment
• Familiarity with tools like Slack, Zoom, or project management software
