Counter Sales AssociateAireco Supply, Inc is a leading distributor of HVAC/R equipment, components and supplies serving Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia and Delaware. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the counter sales team in our Richmond, VA branch location. The Counter Sales Associate will be responsible for selling to contractors alongside experienced HVAC customer service personnel. Aireco is searching for a candidate who is a team player with a passion for customer service, commitment to driving sales and reaching branch goals.Job FunctionsAccurately and efficiently process customer transactions such as providing pricing, quotes, processing orders and managing returnsGenerate new and repeat sales by educating customers about productsProactively recommend items needed by the customer to increase customer satisfaction and improve profitabilitySupport and maintain branch appearance, assisting with stocking shelves and merchandisingProvide excellent customer service at the counter while maintaining a positive attitudeAssist customers with their HVAC parts and equipment needs both in person or via telephoneExcellent communication skills, with a focus on internal and external customersAbility to build and maintain customer relationshipsWork in a team environment, supporting multiple product linesAbility to provide quality customer serviceKnowledgeable in HVAC products or other trade productsBasic computer fluency and comfort with the ability to quickly gain necessary skillsAbility to utilize computer to reference partsDemonstrate basic mathematical aptitude and functionStrong interpersonal skills in sales and problem solvingPositive attitude towards learningParticipate in trainings to maintain and grow knowledge of products and skillsPerforms all other associated duties as assign by leadership teamRequirementsClean driving recordAble to lift 50 poundsStrong oral and written communications skillsExcellent organization skillsPositive attitude and willingness to learnComputer skills and willingness to learn new operational proceduresKnowledge of HVAC systems is helpful but not requiredCounter or outside sales experience preferredBenefitsExcellent benefits package includes 401K, health, dental and vision coverage, disability insurance, profit sharing, vacation and sick leaveIf interested in this position, please email your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io Opportunity Employer / Drug Free Workplace
