Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing top quality and safe healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities since 1917. The Business Development Representative is responsible for serving as a liaison between Aurora Pavilion and referring community resources to build trusting relationships to provide care and resources for patients. Create a demand for the facility's services by using marketing principles and sales methods. Collaborate with Director of Business Development, CEO, and other BH leaders to present professional public image, create needs, providing information on services and other tasks as assigned. Serving our community with Service Excellence at all times.

Duties include developing a designated number of qualified business development contacts per week, maintaining account management lists, contacting primary accounts through personal visits, telephone calls and letters/mailers, monitoring referrals and admissions, maintaining current awareness of changes in the industry, participating actively on the business development team, promoting the team concept within the facility, participating in the evaluation and analysis of facility statistics, attending scheduled department meetings, adhering to facility, department, corporate, personnel and standard policies and procedures, supporting facility-wide quality/performance improvement goals and objectives, maintaining confidentiality of facility employees and patient information, and performing other duties as assigned/required.

Qualifications include education requirements of a bachelor's degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field, experience of minimum of 2 years' experience in healthcare business development/marketing environment with measurable results, knowledge of psychiatric, chemical dependency treatment or related behavioral health principles, license/certification of a valid driver's license and clean MVR, and travel requirements of 50% travel.
