Elevate Work Coordinator Description

Reports To: Elevate Work Director
Department: Elevate Work
FLSA Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Location: Branson, MO

Position Summary

The Elevate Work Coordinator plays a vital role in helping unemployed and underemployed individuals reach their full potential by recruiting students and mentors, coordinating affiliate sites, supporting business partnerships, and ensuring the successful delivery of Elevate Work classes. This position builds relationships with participants, volunteers, employers, and community partners while providing administrative and operational support to the Elevate Work Program Director.

Key Responsibilities

Student Recruitment and Success

• Recruit and interview prospective students.
• Conduct orientations.
• Maintain student files.
• Track attendance and graduation progress.
• Conduct alumni follow up.

Mentor Recruitment and Care

• Recruit and onboard mentors.
• Match mentors with students.
• Schedule mentor check ins.
• Provide ongoing communication and encouragement.

Affiliate Site Coordination

• Coordinate partner churches and affiliate locations.
• Manage classroom logistics.
• Maintain communication with site coordinators.

Business and Community Partnerships

• Schedule business speakers.
• Coordinate mock interviews.
• Assist with employer outreach.
• Maintain relationships with hiring partners.

Administrative Support

• Maintain databases.
• Prepare reports.
• Coordinate graduations.
• Track program outcomes.

Measurable Expectations

• Recruit sufficient students for each class.
• Recruit and retain qualified mentors.
• Maintain accurate participant records.
• Complete alumni follow up.
• Support successful graduation events.
• Respond to inquiries within one business day.

Expand Business Outreach

• Develop relationships with local employers.
• Recruit new hiring partners.
• Identify internship and employment opportunities.

Ministry Expectations

• Pray regularly for students, mentors, volunteers, and staff.
• Demonstrate Christ centered leadership in all interactions.
• Support the mission and statement of faith of Elevate Branson.

Minimum Qualifications

• Excellent public speaking skills.
• Comfortable leading orientations.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to recruit volunteers.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Physical Requirements & Schedule

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Lift up to 25 pounds.
• Occasional evening classes.
• Reliable transportation for local travel.
• Schedule is flexible; however, regular attendance during Elevate Work classes, mentor meetings, graduations, and occasional evening events is required.
