Work Environment

Located in the vibrant neighborhood of Whitestone, our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility is designed with patient comfort and functionality in mind. As an onsite Physical Therapist, you will work closely within a collaborative team of healthcare professionals dedicated to a shared mission—facilitating optimal recovery and health outcomes for our diverse clientele. Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a work-life balance conducive to your professional growth and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of patients to identify their physical therapy needs and develop custom treatment plans.
• Implement a wide range of evidence-based rehabilitation techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities to facilitate recovery.
• Guide patients through their rehabilitation programs while providing motivation, education about their conditions, and encouragement for sustained progress.
• Document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as needed to reflect changes in patient conditions or goals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to create comprehensive care strategies for patients.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Physical Therapy license in the State of New York.

Compensation and Benefits
