About the Role
The Company is in search of a Deputy Vice President for International Advocacy to spearhead its global market access advocacy initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of policy positions, advocacy strategies, and stakeholder engagement activities aimed at enhancing patient access to innovative medicines in major global markets. This senior leadership role demands a visionary, relationship-driven individual with a strong background in international health policy, market access, and healthcare economics. The Deputy Vice President will work closely with government pricing and reimbursement, health technology assessment, and other policies that impact patient access, and must be adept at managing complex projects and stakeholder relationships across various geographies. Applicants for the Deputy Vice President position should have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) in a relevant field, with at least 10 years of professional experience. Key responsibilities include leading policy analysis, representing the organization in high-level meetings, and monitoring global legislative and regulatory developments. The role requires exceptional writing, presentation, and communication skills, as well as the ability to perform and oversee quantitative analysis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing advocacy strategies, managing consultants, and leading cross-functional teams. A strong understanding of healthcare systems and financing worldwide, as well as experience in international travel for advocacy purposes, is essential. The Deputy Vice President will also be expected to provide strategic counsel to senior leadership and support the development of cross-functional advocacy campaigns.
