Systems Administrator (HP NonStop)

IDR is seeking a Systems Administrator (HP NonStop) to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Louisville, Kentucky. This role involves managing and optimizing mission-critical HP NonStop systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security within a fast-paced environment supporting global gift card and stored-value programs. Position Overview for the Systems Administrator (HP NonStop) Administer and support HP NonStop (Tandem) servers in production and development environments. Monitor system performance and availability; perform proactive maintenance. Apply operating system patches and software updates. Handle incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Manage backup and disaster recovery procedures. Requirements for the Systems Administrator (HP NonStop) 5+ years of experience administering HP NonStop (Tandem) systems. Strong knowledge of HP NonStop OS, Guardian, OSS, and utilities (e.g., FUP, SCF, TACL). Experience with system monitoring tools and job scheduling (e.g., NetBatch, AutoSys). Familiarity with security hardening, compliance, and audit procedures on NonStop. Strong scripting skills (TACL, SQLCI, Perl, or Shell scripting preferred). What's in it for you?
