Craft tailored treatment plans focusing on immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.

Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions aimed at enhancing communication, language skills, fluency, voice quality, and swallowing.

Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop cohesive strategies for patient care.

Educate patients and families to bolster progress outside of sessions, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.

Contribute to case management through assessments and interventions for inpatient speech therapy, maintaining continuity of care.

Document treatment progress in alignment with state, federal, and organizational standards with accuracy and precision.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in the field through ongoing education and professional collaboration.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those not yet ASHA-certified.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days post-hire.

Expertise in evidence-based treatments across all age groups, with a thorough understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Adept at customizing therapy techniques to cater to diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Strong clinical judgment and innovative problem-solving capabilities.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation requirements.
